My story. Purchased in June of 1999. Valve cover gasket leaked oil. Car used on avaerage 1 quart of oil per month. Window malfunctions. Window leaked air and water. Engine noise, air intake cylinder is bad. Oil cooling housing leaked oil. Problems shifting in first and second gear. Power loss at times. Creaks and squeaks in dash board and doors. Gas door broke. Sunroof broke. What Volkswagen America customer service? Poor quality of workmanship and customer relations from Valenti Motors Watertown, CT. My jetta was deemed a lemon by the State of Connecticut on February 2001!
